carnivore milkshake

Still think carnivore diet is all steak? Not quite. We are foodies at heart, and refuse to eat a “boring” diet. Although, I do think I could eat steak at every meal… I am a sucker for some dessert. This milkshake is my favorite sweet tooth fix on the carnivore diet. It is only a bonus that this low carb milkshake is full of healthy fats and contains no extra sugar.

This milkshake is also extremely simply - all you need is a batch of our carnivore diet ice cream and some source of milk.

Alternatively, you could use a keto ice cream brand, such as Rebel creamery or whatever your favorite low carb, high fat (“real”) ice cream brand is.

As for milk, we prefer to use raw dairy. We picked up some raw goats milk from our local farmer a few days ago (we document the entire process here - we actually got to milk the goat’s teats ourselves!) which we used to make these milkshakes with.

You can use any milk you’d like - including raw cow’s milk, pasteurized milk (still, would recommend raw over pasteurized, you can read more about that here), or even your favorite keto milk alternative, such as unsweetened coconut milk or unsweetened almond milk.

If you use unsweetened coconut or almond milk, this milkshake will not be full carnivore, but it will lower the carbs a little. The carbs in this recipe come from the natural sugars in milk.
