They're a great carnivore keto snack, and these biscuits are low carb and high protein, and to make them more appropriate for the keto diet, you can add back in fat, such as cheese, egg yolk, or butter.

These carnivore keto biscuits are light, fluffy, & contain only 1 main ingredient, in addition to the ingredients in whichever flavor versions you make.

Ingredients: base recipe
150g egg whites
1/4 tsp cream of tartar (technically optional)*
Redmond real salt
For cheesey bacon biscuits:
For "everything" biscuits:
Everything seasoning (typically includes sesame seeds, poppy seeds, garlic, sea salt, & onion)
For sweet carnivore biscuits:
Pure glycine powder**
For "egg couches":
Raw egg yolk
*Cream of tartar is a byproduct of wine production, you technically do not have to include this, but cream of tartar does help "floof" up the egg whites, allowing for stiff peaks to form and for the whites to maintain a fluffy consistency.
**Using pure glycine powder to sweeten the biscuits will keep these biscuits full carnivore. Alternatively, you could use stevia powder or monk fruit extract to sweeten and keep these biscuits zero carb.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
Measure out egg whites in a dry bowl (ideally a stand mixer)
Add cream of tartar (if using) and whip the egg whites (using stand mixer or manually with a hand mixer - a lot more difficult and doesn't get as stiff - until "stiff peaks" form
Line baking sheet with parchment paper
Spoon fluffed egg white mixture onto baking dish and form into a biscuit shape
Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes, until golden at the top
