Yesterday I had a lot of bacon and pork belly early afternoon and I didn’t feel good the rest of the day. Did it take your body a while to adjust to this way of eating? I wanted to abandon ship but now I find myself craving more meat and fats today LOL

Yes! We also don’t recommend you do a whole lot of rendered fats, especially if you’re coming from a place of having a leaky or damaged gut lining to begin with. I’d recommend checking out some raw fat sources, such as suet, iberico pork fat, or beef trimmings if you find the bacon and grease leaves you feeling icky! Also, you may just respond that way to a lot of pork, so could try prioritizing beef & minimizing pork for a bit :)
I agree. It will take some time before you will be able to jump on the "high" fat wagon because your gallbladder will need time to adjust to the new amounts and influx of fats.
(The gallbladder stores and releases bile (produced by the liver) to aid in the breakdown and digestion of fats).
