    Tips for cravings

The last few days I have been craving fruit especially watermelon. Any tips to move past this? I eventually want to reintroduce in May but right now I’m trying to heal my gut.

(Without knowing how long you have been carnivore, I think you are suffering from a sugar craving)

It takes a little time to get past cravings and really, the best way [for me at least] is cold turkey.

Generally speaking, it take about 15 minutes for a craving to pass and you can shorten that time if you get your mind off of it. That being said, you could try drinking some water .. maybe walking or exercise to take help your mind off of it.

I’ve been carnivore for a few weeks but prior to carnivore I had very little sugar and no sugar cravings. I don’t think sugar is the issue here because when I ask myself if I want honey that’s unappealing to me and the cravings only go away when I’m distracted. I feel like I’m missing some nutrient in my diet that my body is craving just not sure what it could be

Your thought process would be correct, if it's not a sugar craving, it could very well be a nutrient you are missing. Here is a list of vitamins and minerals that is supplied from 1 cup of watermelon balls.
