So I've started to get very curious about salmon roe mainly, and other sources of astaxanthin. But since salmon roe seems to be very expensive I want to explore other sources of astaxanthin and how much to eat from each source to gain the benefits. The main reason is to provide my skin with extra sun protection. I don't burn a lot, but I do get sun damage so maybe some extra astaxathin might help. So, some questions:
- How much salmon roe should I eat every day to get a good amount of astaxanthin? - What other good sources are there, and how much to eat of each of them?
- Can I make a broth from crayfish, shrimp, and other shellfish to get astaxanthin?
